Because every day needs a reason to celebrate!
This is a thread that will inform you about some unusual, but true to life, holidays! I found an amazing list that has shown that practically every day of the years has some unknown, obscure holiday! But we will make people aware of them! So come and join me as we commemorate these less-known events and days!
And perhaps you'll find your own way to celebrate them! In fact, if you can, tell us about how you have celebrated them! Just reply on the specific day and let your day be known to the rest of us!
Alright then, let's CELEBRATE!!! xDD
*starts singing* CEEEELEBRATE GOOD TIMES, COME ON! ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

HAPPY SIBLINGS DAY! [April 10th]
Here is the info and background of this holiday:
National Sibling Day is a day to appreciate and cherish your brothers and sisters. Siblings are truly a special blessing that we probably all too often take for granted. They are often our best friends and supporters through life. Another reason to celebrate is that not everyone is lucky enough to have siblings. Their lives are significantly different growing up, and throughout life.
Celebrate National Sibling Day in a variety of ways. It's a great time to be thankful for your sibling. But, most importantly get in touch with your siblings. Visit them if they live nearby. Call them, if they live far away. Send them a card, a letter, gifts, or flowers.
Origin of "National Sibling Day":
Claudia A. Evart, President and Founder of this day, initiated National Sibling Day after the tragic deaths of her brother and sister.
Twenty two state governors have issued proclamation on this day. President Bill Clinton has supported it. However, we are not aware of any presidential proclamation or an act of congress making this a true "National " day.
[Also, today is Golfer's Day, but Siblings I think may be more important. Maybe you could take your siblings miniature golfing and kill two birds with one stone, or something. That's one way to celebrate it xDD]
